1966 Ford Mustang Convertible Limo

Everyone loves a Mustang. There have been songs featuring Mustangs. They are in the movies. Large performance companies have been modifying them. Professionals and amateurs have turned them into race cars. Most everyone knows someone who owned a Mustang.

Before you is one of the most unique Mustangs ever built! Custom made from two 1966 Mustangs. An exhaustive search resulted in discovering only one 1966 Mustang convertible Limo in existence. The eight-passenger limo draws attention everywhere it goes.

The conversion was a large undertaking. The cars had to be joined via underbody strengthening. The alignment of the door body lines are the key to the appearance of the car.

A sympathetic body, trunk and engine bay restoration was performed July/August 2020. Most brightwork and seals were replaced at that time. New wheels, whitewall tires and styled hubcaps were installed. The updated 302 CI V8 Engine was inspected and runs smooth. The transmission was professionally rebuilt and Dyno Tested while out of the car for restoration. The power convertible top works as it should. Power Steering is smooth. Exhaust is quiet. The car has been thoroughly inspected and is ready to enjoy.
