DESCRIPTION:

1931 Ford 5-Window Coupe

This car was built over a 3-year period. The builder was a very well-known Road Race Car Fabricator and driver in the upper Midwest. He was a master fabricator. Building scratch-built frames, roll cages and suspension components. Hand fabricating and modifying body panels. Fully finishing the bodies and painting them. He knew how to build reliable race engines. The best balance points and weight distribution practices. He could do it all! And he showed it of on this, his final build!

Starting with an All Henry Ford Steel Body. He filled the roof, widened the rear fenders, added an opening cowl, functional hood scoop and fabricated custom hood sides. There is even a hidden trailer hitch. He re-used most of the factory stainless trim, headlights, and radiator shell.

He built a 435 hp 355 Chevy Engine with a FI-Tech Fuel Injection set up. The power is driven through a Tremec 5-speed transmission and Heidts IRS Rear Suspension. The Heidts IFS with Rack & Pinion Steering and Disc Brakes were utilized up front.

He wanted comfort for his long drives to Winter in Florida. Cloth Reclining Bucket Seats kept him in place, Vintage Air AC kept him cool, Power Windows let him smell the ocean while listing to his favorite beach songs.

This car was built to be driven! Shown! Race around in! And it’s not a trailer queen! Buy it and drive it to any ocean with confidence!

This is his final scratch-built car. For Him! His Way!
